How and when we ship.

Sourced units ship within about 10 days of purchase. I source from verified refurbished channels — Apple Refurbished, Back Market, B&H Photo, and Amazon Renewed — and confirm the exact unit, current availability, and final price before fulfillment.

Sourced runs about $500 more than the new-from-Apple path right now because the secondary market is tight on used M4 Mac minis. That premium is the cost of skipping the Apple wait.

I do not use inflated resale listings unless you specifically approve the exact source and price.

When you choose the new-from-Apple path, I pre-order the unit directly from Apple. Apple's current lead time on M4 Mac mini orders is 10–12 weeks from order. Once the unit arrives, I prepare and test the local AI stack before it ships to you — typically within a few business days of receiving it from Apple.

You receive a confirmation when your unit is in MiniForge's hands and a shipping confirmation with tracking when it leaves.

I confirm intake details and arrange logistics with you within one business day of purchase. Turnaround on the actual setup depends on shipping in both directions and the configuration scope — typically about a week after I have the Mac.

Setup Review ($199): intake form sent immediately after purchase; recommendation report delivered by email within 48 hours of intake. Your $199 credits in full toward any Mac or BYO Setup purchase within 30 days of report delivery.

We ship within the United States only. All orders ship from Washington State. We do not currently offer international shipping.
